Jacob is the CEO of Duz Cho Group of Companies.
Duz Cho Group of Companies is wholy owned by McLeod Lake Indian Band whose Traditional Territory is located in the Treaty 8 area of Northeastern British Columbia. McLeod Lake is one of 16 First Nations who secured a 10% equity option in the Coastal Gaslink Pipeline.
Jacob is focused on building a key team and relationships to deliver a superior product safely and efficiently to Duz Cho Group’s numerous clients and MLIB partners in the Civil Construction world. He has negotiated large contracts with clients that included Nation to Nation agreements bringing both benefit and opportunity to all involved.
Before being appointed the CEO, Jacob held various roles including the General Manager position for Duz Cho Construction for over 5 years. Prior to this he worked 18 years in the civil construction and forestry industry starting as an equipment operator and field supervisor in Northern BC, which involved working on multiple large projects including Site C Dam and Trans Canada’s CGL Pipeline.
