Energy for a Secure Future at the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28)
Energy for a Secure Future (ESF) participated in the 2023 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP28). We hosted two panels – one focused on LNG and Reconciliation in Canada and the other focused on the nexus of energy and food security. ESF also engaged with leaders from across Canada and around the world. Unlike previous COPs, we were pleased to see a much broader conversation, one in which energy security, food security, competitiveness, industrial strategy and reconciliation, featured in a meaningful way alongside emissions reduction.
